Albania’s gross external debt increases in the first quarter

Albania’s gross external debt stood at 8.85 billion euros ($ 10.8 billion) at the end of March, up 3.5% from its recorded value at the end of December, the central bank of the country.
The external debt of Albanian commercial banks, general government and central bank all increased in the first quarter, according to published figures.
