FDI in Albania increases by 10% in 2021

The inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Albania reached 1 billion euros last year, up from 936.8 million euros in 2020, according to central bank data.
On a quarterly comparison basis, FDI rose to 302.2 million euros in October-December from 260.4 million euros in the July-September period, according to the data.
The largest volume of foreign investment in Albania in the fourth quarter, of 96.4 million euros, came from the Netherlands, followed by Italy with 36.4 million euros and Turkey with 23 million. euros.
