Fred. The Olsen Bolette cruise ship today marks the start of its inaugural sailing season from Southampton.
The new flagship will offer Bolette will offer 26 artisanal crossings from the British port by August 2022.
Today, the cruise ship sails to Antwerp and Amsterdam on Bolette’s five-night “City Break Netherlands and Belgium”.
Future destinations include the Amalfi Coast, Norwegian fjords, European cities and Iceland.
The duration of Bolette cruises ranges from four to 19 nights in the coming months.

“Whether it’s looking for the phenomenal Northern Lights, discovering the history of the Balkan regions or sailing through the heart of the Norwegian fjords to admire their beauty directly from the ship.
âWe have also scheduled a number of our cruises to coincide with special events ashore, for example our stopover in Amsterdam in April will allow customers to enjoy the world famous Floriade Expo, and we will be visiting Monaco in time for the Grand Prix in May.
Martin continued, âGuests who join us in the Canary Islands in early December will also have the chance to witness the Geminid meteor shower during their cruise.
âAdditionally, for those who prefer to sail from Southampton, this will be their first chance to explore our new shuttered ship Bolette and enjoy her many facilities for themselves. We look forward to welcoming new and old guests on board starting today.

Bolette recently underwent a complete makeover and set sail with Fred. Olsen for the first time in August 2021.
The ship is named after the great-great-grandmother of company president Fred. Olsen Junior.
Bolette carries 1,338 guests at full capacity and continues to deliver the small ship experience, attention to detail and personalized service for which Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is renowned.
