Global construction company moves operations from Queens to Jersey

Everest Construction Group, a global manufacturer of aluminum products, is moving its operations to the tri-state from Queens to New Jersey.

NAI James E. Hanson announced that he had negotiated a 19,600 s / f industrial lease for a complete building at 208 Huyler Street in South Hackensack, for the company.

Andrew Somple and Justin Allessio represented both the Owner, 208 Huyler LLC, and the Tenant.

“Due to the lack of products available in Northern New Jersey, newly remodeled warehouse spaces like the 208 Huyler set the benchmark for industrial space in New Jersey,” Somple said.

“Deals like this show how these rare properties continue to attract quality tenants like Everest Construction Group in New Jersey. We were happy to work with our two clients to negotiate a long term deal that would bring another new business to New Jersey while helping the owner secure the fair market value of his unique asset.

208 Huyler Street is a one-story industrial building located in a highly accessible location between Interstate 80 and Route 46. The building features 18-foot ceilings, 1,200 s / f of office space, two doors entrance and a tailgate as well as 20 parking spaces.

Aiming to capitalize on the strong demand for modern industrial space in the South Hackensack market, the building owner recently launched a major property improvement plan. Completed upgrades include new LED lighting, HVAC system and overhead doors. The bathrooms and office spaces of the building are also being renovated.

According to the brokers, the property’s easy access to the northeastern United States via Interstate 80 and the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as its regional connectivity via routes 4, 17 and 46, coupled with its high ceilings and its cargo space, made it a new warehouse and distribution center for Everest Construction Group as the company sought to move out of its current facility in Queens.

Based in Albania, Everest’s footprint has spanned six different locations spanning Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, and the United States. With more than 25 years of experience, the company deals with the design, production and marketing of aluminum profiles, windows, doors and facades as well as other architectural applications for architecture studios, construction companies, manufacturers of aluminum systems and more.
