Milan, December 2, 2021 – Intesa Sanpaolo was once again recognized as “Bank of the Year in Italy” by The banker, the Financial Times Group’s flagship publication for the sector, on the occasion of the 2021 annual Bank of the Year Awards.
In their selection this year, The bankerThe Commission judges paid particular attention to the role played by banks in ensuring stability and supporting the collective effort to exit the pandemic – areas in which Intesa Sanpaolo has distinguished herself. The judges continued to focus on banks that have shown the way in helping customers and the wider economy meet the needs of the future, and which have best adapted to establish long termgrowth in the face of such a global change.
