His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, on Wednesday received Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, who is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates to attend the national holiday of his country. celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Rama and expressed hope that the visit would help advance joint and effective cooperation and action in various fields.
The meeting, held at Al Shati Palace, focused on strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the vital sectors of economy, investment and development.
Sheikh Mohamed and the Albanian Prime Minister also exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas of common interest.
Sheikh Mohamed stressed the UAE’s readiness to broaden the basis of its cooperation with friendly countries, which is based on the principles of mutual trust and respect and joint cooperation, expressing satisfaction with the level of relations with the Republic of ‘Albania.
The Albanian Prime Minister expressed his joy to visit the United Arab Emirates and meet Sheikh Mohamed, expressing his thanks for the welcome and generous hospitality. He appreciated the continued support provided by the United Arab Emirates to his country, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
