US spy chief says he confirmed intelligence China is testing for biologically enhanced super soldiers
China has stolen sensitive US defense technology and performed human tests to develop super soldiers with biologically enhanced capabilities in its quest for world domination, the top US spy chief wrote in a Dec. 3 statement. . the Wall Street newspaper editorial.
As US director of national intelligenceJohn Ratcliffe is the head of the intelligence community, a coalition of 17 agencies and organizations. He oversees and directs the intelligence budget and advises the President, the National Security Council and the Internal Security Council.
Ratcliffe’s office became increasingly politicized under President Donald Trump, US News reported. The dramatic language used by the outgoing director of national intelligence represents a rare public statement by the DNI.
U.S. intelligence shows that China has performed human tests on members of the People’s Liberation Army in hopes of developing soldiers with biologically enhanced abilities, according to Ratliffe. “There are no ethical borders to Beijing’s pursuit of power.”
“The People’s Republic of China poses the greatest threat to America today, and the greatest threat to democracy and freedom in the world since World War II,” Ratcliffe wrote. “The intelligence is clear: Beijing intends to dominate the United States and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically. “
Twitter users had a lot of fun with the idea of China stealing ideas from Hollywood movies such as “Captain America”, “Bloodshot” and “Universal Soldier” to create “Super Soldiers”.
Listen to GHOGH with Jamarlin Martin | Episode 73: Jamarlin martin Jamarlin explains why this is a multifactorial rebellion versus mere protests against George Floyd. He discusses the Democratic Party’s underhanded relationship with police in cities and states under Dem control, and why Joe Biden is a cop and the Steve Jobs of mass incarceration.
“It was only a matter of time before Universal Soldier became a thing,” said one person.
“Captain Amer —— oops, I mean Captain China is really going !!” said another.
“Hey, we already have some super soldiers. Their name is @USMC, ”@hyperbolergic tweeted, winking at the Marine Corps.
Others on Twitter were not amused by the warmongering and fearful tactics of the National Intelligence Director, expressing general distrust of U.S. intelligence. “US intelligence also told us that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction in 2003 and roped up a whole coalition of soldiers to die with theirs in an oil crusade,” one person tweeted.
Trump also claimed that there was no weapons of mass destruction, contrary to what the intelligence community did before the United States attacked Iraq in 2003. In 2016, the outgoing president said: “They lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction; There were none.
In 2019, two U.S. academics examined China’s ambitions to apply biotechnology to the battlefield, including signs that China was interested in using gene-editing technology to improve human performance – and maybe soldiers, NBC News reported.
The researchers cited the CRISPR gene editing tool, which has been used to treat genetic diseases and modify plants. Western scientists consider it unethical to manipulate genes to improve the performance of healthy people.
The researchers quoted a 2015 article in a military journal that said, “Chinese scientists and military strategists have consistently pointed out that biotechnology could become a ‘new strategic pinnacle of the future revolution in military affairs.’
Ratcliffe wants Americans to recognize what he called “our one-time challenge in a generation,” claiming that we have defeated fascism and brought down the Iron Curtain.
“This generation will be judged on its response to China’s efforts to reshape the world in its own image and replace America as the dominant superpower,” Ratcliffe wrote.
